Phishing is the act of attempting to obtain authentication information, credit card details or other personal account information via masquerading as a trustworthy entity (such as a bank). We’ll check your URL or website to see if it is marked as containing phishing content by Comodo analysts or an trusted external source such as Google Safe Browsing or PhishTank and offer advice on how to fix any issues detected. We scan your URL to look for any direct links to a malware file or if it contains links to malware files which, if executed by a visitor to your website, may cause infection. Our scan will detect any links which we will remove from your website along with any suspicious files which may have been uploaded to your web hosting account (only for websites we host).
